Beach at Llanbedrog is lovely.

I like Granvilles in Criccieth for food. Not been for a year or two though.

Hellsmouth for a bit of surfing? West Coast Surf in Abersoch does board and wet suit hire.

Whistling sands, Hells Mouth. Loads of stunning beaches etc. Abersoch crawling with chavs from Cheshire in their Shoguns, sadly, so worth avoiding. Used to be a great village.

Aber Uchaf craft centre (up the steep hill by Land & Sea) for Bec's amazing cakes whilst browsing Flipside's jewellery and Turtle's stunning photography.

Abersoch is a lovely location and is a good base out of season but as above does get completely rammed with the Cheshire set during the season. Should be getting a bit quieter now though.

Aberdaron area is lovely - Not been for a while but the Ship Inn does decent food and Ty Newydd is great for a drink on the terrace (right on the beach) coastal path from there to Porth Oer (Whistling Sands) via Mynydd Mawr is stunning.

+1 for Ty Coch Inn. That end of Morfa Nefyn beach is also very sheltered from the wind.

Surfing can be good at Porth Ceiriad and Porth Neigwl / Hells Mouth. North end of the beach is quieter. Aberdaron and Porth Oer can also work in some conditions. As above they are all lovely to visit anyway.

Boat trip to Bardsey Island is great if you are interested in wildlife.

Pwllheli gets an undeserved bad rep (mainly because there is a big holiday camp there) but seafront is nice and the old part of town and harbour are good for a mooch around.

Slightly out of the area but the west Highland Railway from Porthmadog up to Beddgelert via the Aberglaslyn Pass and on to Caernarfon via the flanks of Snowdon is great fun - you can spot ospreys en route and there there is even a bar stocked with local ales on board.

next cove north to Morfa nefyn is Nefyn, we had a fantastic day there last week on the kayak and snorkelling, also there's some nice back roads on the Llyn IF you ride the darkside ๐Ÿ˜‰

We had a really nice meal at the Ship in Mynytho.
The Coastal Path is very good walking.
Loads of quiet lanes which are great for a leisurely bike ride.

Lawmanmx - thanks. How was the snorkelling, any good?

All - thanks again. Not going for a couple of weeks so should be fairly quiet.

Ty Coch is a lovley spot, but food prices are just daft, some great walking on the hills on the Llyn two, so prominent the views are superb.

Plas Bodegroes food was superb, not sure they have a Michellin star any longer but it was great night

There is a DH track at Nant Gwytheurn, but it only operates one weekend a month.

They don't have so many uplifts any more but if you ever get the chance to go on one, ride Nant G dh track.

This place is worth a visit for the superb location and the restored Welsh quarry village. We went there when it was derelict and even then it was in good nick because the access was down a footpath, with no road.

Here's some really interesting stuff on it pre-restoration:
