Help I need swaying..
I'm ready to push the button on 1 of the following.:
Cotic Bfe
NS Surge
Commencal Ramones CroMo ( can get a good deal on a 2013 model )
All pretty much much of a muchness
Ramones low bb (-30mm )
Surge - short/ adjustable chainstay length ( 411-425mm) & a steal @ £270w
Bfe - British ish, 853 steel & nobody has a bad word to say about them.
If only the Surge would take a 30.9 dropper which I already have ( buying a new dropper makes a mockery of the cheap price of the frame.
A proper dilema like what?
Have you had a chance to ride them all? I'd go for whatever one felt the best.
@peterfile..unfortunately I haven't had the chance to ride any of the above. Don't know how I'm gonna manage to.
Life changing??
Can the dropper be swapped on the classifieds?
I can't help on any of these three, but I have adjustable dropouts on my El Mar and really rate being able to change the bike's handling characteristics very quickly.
Life changing in so far as I'll be going from an Aluminium HT to a steel HT.( I do believe in Ferrous, I do, I do )
Fair point then. I've made the switch as well, although with a Ti road bike it's only a matter of time before my MTB goes that way too...
