Yes, but what size granules are best? How does it cope with sub-optimal gravel?

I've read some utter tripe, but that review is right up there

Well to be fair, what do we expect with a review of a Gravel bike !

Its a road bike with slightly wide tyres on it. No suspension, dropper or slack geo 🙂 Its going to ride like a road bike with slighly wider tyres on it. Despite the review stating "can handle the rigours of off-road riding"

“a polarising yet granular riding experience “

Sounds like the perfect bike for riding over lots of crushed magnets

'A polarising yet granular riding experience'.

Translation:

'A lot of people will think it is shit and there are lots of reasons why. However, a few diehards will like it and we need the advertising revenue from the company'.

It's like when a steep HA is described as nimble, or fast. But most of us know its twitchy as hell and scares you on any slight downhill.

  • Ride quality can be firm at times
  • Pricier than its rivals and more established marques

Sounds like the cervelo grav grav

I’ve read the thread title about six times and still have no idea what a granular riding experience is.

‘resembling or consisting of small grains or particles’

So it makes your ride resemble small grains or particles? WTF kind of review is this?

Polarising and granular? So first it magnetises you, then they throw iron filings at you?
