I've been meaning to have a ride round Wentwood for ages and given the recent dry weather now seems like a good time. I know there is the downhill track but is it possible to put a nice short loop together? Where to park? Any tips for bits of trail or better yet a gpx? More xc, nice singletrack stuff would be good

Lots of tracks, some on the steep side down to the A449 and some on the more gently sloping side. I've parked here before -

Just go and follow your nose and duck off down tracks leading off the fire tracks and see where they go.
