Headed up to Aston Hill with my riding buddy today, his first trip and only my second. It was reasonably dry but super slippery in places, roots especially. It was great fun though once we'd got our respective eyes in.
I'm just coming back after an operation and it's amazing how much fitness you loose in a few short weeks; I really struggled on the xc loop!
Dh3 an the red descent were loads of fun, looking forward to the new track opening! Not ventured onto the steeper stuff yet and didn't think today was the day!!
All in all a great place that especially in the wet is quite a challenge. Cheers to the dig team for maintaining such a great riding spot.
