I went for a Ribble Scuro RS. Under £900 for the frame/fork and a lot of bike for the money if you can live with the name.

Aside from shameless sales - the ribbles are always cracking buys.

NAH none of the above

http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/FRPXNA/nanolight-carbon-fibre-frame-with-fork-and-headset

which leaves you 600 quid burning a hole in your pocket 😆

The nanolight is only OK for tyres up to 22mm which is smaller than many would want.

Nanolight-in fact I'm ordering one now 😀 (non high mod for £400!)

I'd probably get a Chinarello Dogma off speedyli's store on aliexpress.com

deng fu, FM015 or FM028 if you want one with a more relaxed riding position - which would leave you with a lot left over

Another one for the Scott Cr1 pro. A comfortable ride and a damn fine race bike too. Better than my Pinarello costing twice as much. (Lesson learned)

tested tons before getting my last one....kinesis kr810...light, stiff and very comfy! used mine with itm carbon wheels to do lejog....was like riding on a carpet of silk! should be able to pick one up now for less than 800 quid.....change for a decent set of carbon bars n stem (it comes with a carbon post 😉 )
