Should be arriving around Fort William somewhere around the 22nd-24th of June, depending on how quick we are on the Three Peaks Yacht Race this year, fingers crossed for some wind (not too much though).

I'll hopefully have a day or two free before flying home and will be based around Corpach, any recommendations on where to ride?

XC not DH and I'll have a 100mm Hardtail, I'll only have the bike as transport so something fairly close ideally.
I'll chuck myself down most stuff but I don't really do 'air', big drops or gaps
would love to fit in a ride or two if I can

where's good and close that fits the bill?

Nevis Red?? Witch's trail??....

I've only ridden the Witches Trails round there and it wasn't all that imo. If it was me I'd be looking into the Devil's Staircase.

that one's quite away from Corpach by the looks of it.
anything closer? I'll be on pretty tired legs after the race
is there not plenty round the Ben?

If you're looking to keep it close to the Nevis Range then what we did was a day going up and down the gondolas doing the 'red' route and then the following day we did bits of all the XC stuff. There is some great natural trails in the area but for ease of use and having everything close to hand that's a good couple of days riding imo.

๐Ÿ™„ @ organic, a bike ๐Ÿ™‚
perhaps 'Where to ride?' would have been a better title, sorry

cheers Barney, the red pretty good is it?
oooh gondolas sound like a good call, as my legs will likely be knackered

I can't believe you bumped this after 30 minutes of inactivity!

Anyway, West Highland Way to Kinlochleven, past Mamore Lodge and the Eilde lochs, ford the Abhain Rath and head up towards Lairag Leacach bothy. Ride down the glen to Fort William. Big day out but a nice loop.
