What is an 'APR' race. And how are handicaps worked out in time trials?

An APR is an Australian Pursuit Race - people are grouped by abilities with the slower groups setting off first, etc.

Nope, just want to know who, how and why they mess about with people's times and what the local race is this weekend.

Fancy the Skye Mor Jojo? 95 miles, 10,000 ft of climb?

When is it? Might be interested although TBH I've only been doing roadie stuff (particularly the TTs) to get faster on the MTB without having to motivate myself to do intervals by myself, and the longer stuff doesn't really push the heartrate the same way.

Next Saturday (30th). I'm just thinking about it at the moment - think I might have a wee Sportive bug.

Skye Mor is the 31st.

Maybe try an Audax. There is a nice 300km one on the 6th of June.
