SRAM PG980 is slightly cheaper (£30 vs £35), but slightly heavier, by a couple of jelly babies.
RRP of SRAM is a good slice higher, whatever that might mean - £80 vs £54
any have any opinion or interest either way? Shifting, durability? I'll probably stick with a PG chain.
Cheers,

I don't think there is much in between the two, they are both cassettes with only a partial spider, so they will chew up an aluminium free hub body over time. I can't comment on the SLX from experience, but nothing really wrong with the 980.
Got a steel freehub, so not really fussed on that front.
Think it's going to go daow to which one I think is the prettiest. Which is a bit tricky.
Should I go for the ultimate shine and uniformity of the SRAM, or the "form through function" engineering-y vibe that the SLX exudes?
I think probably the SLX, if the decision's coming down to aesthetics.
Edit: tricky though, having seen them side by side. The more obvious drilling on the SRAM does lend it a certain... I don't know what.
