Anyone do this yesterday?
Good grief the wind coming down the gold course was awful. Peddaling to ride downhill at 9mph, when normally you can coast down there at 30mph+.
Still the rain didn't kick in until after I'd finished. I pity the nutters doing the 14 and 21 hills though!
I was walking the dog over the golf course this morning at about 8am and saw an unusual amount of tyre tracks - I guess this event was the reason. Some evil hills round that way. I wasn't able to bring my bike over this time visiting the parents, shame as the forest still seems fairly dry. 🙁
You are correct, the Golf course was horrible yesterday.
Evil hills? Ha, some people on here seem to think the south is flat!
After yesterday afternoon's rain I doubt the woods are very dry now! Shame, they've been dry most of the summer and this is the first time i've seen proper mud on the island for several months.
