Anyone doing/done before the 7 Hills event on the island? I am signed up for this Sunday and wondering about tyre choice as currently have clunky Enduro tyres on the HT. Any advice appreciated.

Heavy tyres aren't needed for the downs - something good rolling and that clears well (if it's wet as it's clayey mud). Nothing grips on wet chalk anyway 😉

It used to be just after Christmas and a lot of people would turn up with hangovers. This was back in the late nineties and we were all on panaracer xc pro’s - hope that helps! Happy memories, best result was 9th with no hangover!

9th place is pretty damn good! Looks like a trip to the classifieds to find some XC tyres. Thanks both
