Hi all,
After being convinced my whippet will take 650b wheels my next question is what wheels and tyres?
I would like light wheels, crest ztr, hope hubs? As for tyres I usually run rocket rons but I believe there not available on 650. Recommendations please and where to buy.
If your not to busy preparing Brussels.

They do do Ron's Ron's they do do Ron's

They are on the 2013 line-up, I'm looking at 650B next year, my choice of rims would be Crests on Pro 2's

Yes Rons are available. A friend of mine recently bought some from one of the German websites, so can buy them now. I bought my wife's 650b Crest rims from Clee Cycles, I am not sure what the situation is now but a few months ago not many places had them in stock.

AFAIK, Rons are in seriously short supply. It's unlikely Schwalbe UK will have any this year, so I bought some from Bikediscount.de. Stans rims are available in a few places inc Justridingalong. Racing Ralphs are also cheapest direct from Germany. If you want a more hard-wearing tyre, JRA have the Pacenti range.

I'm going to convert my Prophet with Hope hubs and Halo rims - seems like a great value and are tubeless ready! Tyres - Schwalbe RaRa should be fine...I'd love to try some Pacenti though!
