Hopefully (fingers crossed) my new Five arrives this weekend!

Now where do people get there 27.5 inner tubes from? I am assuming that you need different size ones from 26?

Can't find any at Merlin or Wiggle.

Ive never tried it, but having seen how far a 26in tube will stretch, I'd imagine a 27.5in tube is almost unnecessary. 26in should fit just fine.... ๐Ÿ™‚
Although I imagine I'm wrong in the usual STW tradition. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Scwalbe say their 29er tubes are for 650b as well. But I've also used 26 inch with no problems.

Giant and Nutrak do them. Both get good reviews.

Good to know I can use the old ones if I get caught out.

Will have a look for some of those giant ones, know where you can get them?

Schwalbe do them and make good tubes http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k2023/schlaeuche.html

Continental tubes are also good and their 29 tube is branded 28" so that would work http://www.wiggle.co.uk/continental-quality-mtb-inner-tube/

I'd still use up my 26 tubes first as they'll still fit and they'll last for ages as it's pretty rare to get a tubeless failure.

1) Why are you not using tubeless? Get some electrical tape, seal the rims, cut a (threaded, with a locknut) valve from your old redundant tubes, fit it, pump it up, if it doesnt go up, add more tape (a whole roll weighs 30g, still only 20% of a tube, go nuts!), remove one side, add stans, pump up, forget about it for 6 months.

2) 26" will fit, I've put them in my 29er before, as above, just pump them up a bit before fitting.

You know me, I break my arm more often than I get punctures, that's actualy true, I've had 3 punctures in the last 2 years, two on the same ride ona new bike that still had tubes fitted!
