Got a question concerning hope disc brakes 😕
I have a couple of sets of the old C2 hydraulic brakes and they have I believe a 6mm diameter hose.
I've looked about a bit but can only find hose in 5 mm diameter
Can I swop it for the 5mm without any problems?
[the fittings appear to be the same and screw into the banjo and nipple holes without issue]
Im trying to renovate a few sets back into life and have plenty of spares ,pistons,seals kits etc to keep them going,its just a couple of hoses need replacing
Any disc techy heads experience in this? 😀
I believe you can but you need new end fittings in 5mm

6mm no longer available as you've found, you will need new fittings as even though they'll fit internally, they're designed to fit a different external diameter(oh, and there are two different sizes of shroud, depending on whether you have braided hose or not.).
