What are they like for walking around in and stuff, as in just using like a normal shoe?

Bit stiffer sole thats all.
If you buy the freeride ones or the ones that are more sjkatebaord style they basically just like any skate shoe.

If the soles are wet they leave black marks on your carpet.

Wouldn't want to walk any real distance in them - the mtb ones are too stiff but they do others

I try not to be seen off a bike on my Impacts as they are definitely very 'special' looking but just bought a pair of these and am quite happy using them for non-biking as well;

I wear my freeriders as normal shoes and they're fine.

Even did a 6k running race in them once, did hurt a bit after though.

Alright cheers all. Are the basics still good for riding in? For bmx, not mtb.
