My 'daily' bike for the last 3 years has been an 07 Enduro SL, which I love. I like its slightly larger, longer character and it is great for just thrashing over things - I'm on the larger side. Main riding is ST in Surrey Hills, but also done Alps etc.
I like the feeling of being in the bike and not perched up on top, if that makes sense.
Feeling the need for a hardtail (back to basics etc etc)
Looking for a 'similar' character to my Enduro, I like the idea of the Orange Crush (big fork etc) but silly to spend a grand on a second bike.
Fury gets good reviews for an entry level HT, looks good etc - very tempted - but what else should I look at? I'm 6ft and 16ish stone - 20" seems too big for a twisty trail bike, aim for 18" frame? Hard to tell in the shop...
Advice/options appreciated. Approx £500. Won't be building my own bike up from a frame on this occasion - purely time driven...

Decathlon have some good models in that price range if you're near one

I've been looking at sub £500 bikes for the mrs - the most interesting thing I've fund is the GF Wahoo Disc at £450
My mate picked up a Saracen Zen for £280 (previous year's model), but the spec. wasn't bad. With 500 notes you sould be able to get a cracking bike. The Zen is near-enough the same geometry as the Crush (my Crush is the old-style frame)...
Good luck... 😉
cheers guys - that Genesis does look good - where, how much?! will google...
