Sun Double Wide presumably? Stupid rims!

No particuar reason you couldn't use several overlapping layers of tape. I'd replace the rims with something lighter and generally more practical though, I think Josh Bender's about the only person to justify those rims!

Nope, they are Mountain Unicycle rims, giving the tyre a flatter profile and hence better stability. And they are drilled so not too heavy.

So I can simply get the widest tape available and apply two rotations of it overlapping in the middle?
