I wasnt sure if that would work or not. Basically have a Ragley Blue pig and it says a 44mm standard headset. I know this is a 44mm internal but does he 50mm external mean it'll be too big??

50mm is the outside diameter of the head tube, as far as I know - 3mm think sounds about right. That said, headsets are such a minefield that it's worth checking first - but having fitted a 44mm one last week (Hope) it looks right to me.

which hope one did you use?

I make the outer of my frame 48mm so that would leave a tiny (1mm lip) with the FSA but the internal size should fit fine.

The hope bottom cup is out of stock as well!!

I think Superstar Components do a 44mm semi-integrated headset.
