I am building up a C456 and bought a pair of the 44RC3's as they get such good reviews, however I am slightly concerned that the spring they come with will be too stiff as I only weigh 56kg/9st. without bag though so add a bit more on)

Marzocchi list the weight range for 0psi in the preload chamber as 55-63kg, will I just be too light to get the best out of the forks?

The alternative is to sell them and get a second hand pair of air forks ie Revs as I'm not keen on sourcing/paying for a lighter weight Ti spring.

Thoughts? (it's worth noting I will be doing a fair bit of pedalling, but that is just a means to get to the descent which is the important bit)

Cheers

I doubt you will be able to find a spring to suit your weight. Try a air fork?

you can hold the valve open and press the fork into its' travel to let more air out, this will create a vacuum inside so lighter riders can get them to sag properly

Echo both these comments - springs are hard to come by.

Also seen the vacuum trick used before!

I've been using the vacuum method on marzocchi forks for years and it works very well. Borrow a big friend to help you compress the forks fully for maximum effect.
