Got to depend on how you are carrying the bikes.

If they're rack mounted externally, not a problem, if they're in the car you'll be pretty tight for room but probably do-able.

I was about to query that. I can't see 4 bikes and 4 people and luggage in a 306 estate or c-max? (based on grand senic ownership)

Done it in a Toyota Verso, so the answer is yip

3 on a towbar carrier one on the roof and a roofbox alongside it

Done 4 people + 4 downhill bikes + all the kit - for a week in Les Ges/Morzine in a Honda CRV, so again, Yes!

It is insanely big! We have a Seat Alhambra which is exactly the same really and its' crazy big!

All going inside, no rack but we do have a roof box. we've just never tried it before so good to know it can be done!
