Mini hijack re: DHB tights - how well / accurately do they size up please (out of interest). They also have two types, I think - the Earnley and the slightly dearer Merston - any preference? Cheers.

I find the pad on the DHBs to be too far forward

Earnley have a standard lycra material. Merston have a fleece lining and more suitable for colder days.
Pads are the same on both I believe.

Funnily enough have some Northwave bib 3/4's for sale - cost £48 and looking for £35 posted. They are pro fit XXL and fit a 36" waist. 2 rides old and immaculate.

I've found the Pearl Izumi attack and thermo pro thingys to be really good. Roubaix fury fabric is nice and warm but in the end it comes down to what fits you best.

2 pairs of the lycra DHB shorts...seriously good for the money.
might order another pair of the warmer ones if laura is kind enough to send me a 5 squids vouchers some time soon.

For winter use endura thermolite/dhb merston for lighter weather i love my endura f260 pro bibknicks.

De Marchi Contours are pretty good - they are my preferred, although I haven't tried Endura
