between our regular riding mob we have:
18" salsa selma - pimped out and uber light
16" on-one with truss fork and moderately bingo winged front
18" surly karate monkey
19.5" on-one Ti
Large scandal (with gears!!!)
18.5" lynskey pro29
19" rig
medium niner SIR (gears as well SHAME ON YOU PICTO!)
medium litespeed obed

if you fancy a bit of a tour of the cheeky trails on the chase and try out of lots of different 29ers I'm sure we could arrange something as long as you're between 5ft 9 and 6ft 4 we'll find a couple of bikes to fit you ( a liking on SS may help as well)

which ever you fancy really, do you use spd's look, cleats, egg beaters etc... and are you a big unit? (just means the scandium and carbon one can't come out to play as it has a rider weight limit 8O)

Mrs ssstu has a 18" El Mariachi you could try out.
Though it does have a fat front fitted ATM.

I have all manner of other 18" 29ers if you wanted to try one of them.

I'm west mids based too.

I'm amazed. Truly amazed that theres such a plethora of other 29er'ers on the Chase. ๐Ÿ™‚

18" Inbred here, currently running 1x10 with Reba Teams at 120mm. Its a bit tall, but I like it. Be going back to 32x18 & carbon rigid'ed soon, but your welcome to have a go if your passing lichfield on the way to Cannock.
