Looking for some carbon rigid forks with bosses for a new Sonder Frontier build, would like the Pathfinder from sonder but they are out of stock. Other options I can see are the Trek 1120 forks or the Travers prong. Prong has a rather large offset of 55mm, anybody know if that would be detrimental to the handling?

I could just go with a Reba and get some Tailfin fork mounts so that is an option too.

Can’t comment on the offset but brother ate another option

Depends on the geometry of your bike overall and your preferences. It'll steer a bit lighter than a short offset fork whatever you put it on, ime a longer offset fork with relaxed but not very slack HTA can be a good combo for a rigid bike.

Depending on what you need, there are quite a few options, many of which seem silly money (at least to me) but Pace have something that looks interesting and that doesn't seem massively expensive (was due in stock on 18/01/25 so might be worth double checking they have them if you're interested).

Some more options there, cheers. Pace seems a good price but quite a short offset on those 42mm compared to 55mm on the Travers.

I was happy with the Trek 1120 forks and my Frontier, think the offset is 51mm. Seemed stable when loaded up and lively enough when not.

sale price of £304 at Swinnerton Cycles

I've got a Genesis carbon fork gathering dust if you want it. It came on my Tarn and has seen little use.

Have a look at Banana Industries, they've a variety of different Olsen forks. Here's one: https://www.bananaindustries.co.uk/collections/wheels/products/fugazzi-mountain-klone-carbon-boost-fork-15mm-axle

Some of the Planet X Selcof forks have bosses. Not clear on the website whether the ones currently on sale do, but they crop up on eBay from time to time.

I've got the trek 1120 fork and I think it's a great fork. I even like that it has aluminium fork and a normal star nut. I've found this set up means my headset bearings have lasted much longer than the previous genesis tarn carbon fork set up.

It has the bonus that a rack fits to the 4 bolts on the front as well as having the 3 bolts on the side.

Is it only the trek rack that fits?

I've a Cotic Cascade coming soon and while I was just going to take the steel fork it comes with I'm liking the look of Pace fork, plus it's a Boost axle.
