I've had Ardents on my Karate Monkey for a month or so - grip well, rol fine but I've noticed a few people running the rear in the opposite direction to the way I run mine.
I have the rear tyre facing in the opposite direction with the "arrows" on the tyre pointing rearwards.
Is there a "right way" to run them?
The arrows are meant to point in the direction the bike is rolling.
Rear tyres can be run either way.
General theory goes, if viewed from above, chevrons pointing rear improves breaking and climbing traction.
chevrons pointing forward improves rolling resistance.
Whether it makes the slightest bit of difference to the average rider is open to debate.
