Loving my Singular 29er, set up rigid and 1x9. All riding is Kent singletrack, def nothing gnarly! Had a lovely ride today but wondering if a soft front end my be a good idea as I have a massively reconstructed shoulder and with advancing years, a modicum of comfort might be beneficial!
Having not bought sus forks for many many years so well out of touch. So recos for 80-100mm sus forks, lightweight is important, not fussed about lots of 'gadgets'.
Thoughts.
Thanks
New.. Either Rebas or those x-fusion ones, used..Rebas of Fox f29's, I got some f29's off the classifieds here and they're lovely, mates got some Rebas from Merlin and he loves em,
Those x-fusion ones look good for the money as well, some good prices on eBay for those.
Edit, Charlie the bikemonger was doing some manitou ones cheap as well...
personaly i'd go for rebas or fox - i've a set of DT Swiss XMM's which turned up broken and required a warrently repair straight out of the box - all sorted now and they are a good stiff pair of forks, but the small bump capability isnt as good as RS or Fox...
