[Closed] 29er forks & wheels...where do I go?

Assuming I wanted to build a 29er bike...lets say based around a Niner Air 9 frame. A short time on't internet has not revealed many appropriate results in the way of forks and wheels. Please feel free to post your suggestions.

I'd like to use Rock Shox Maxle (or similar) as opposed to regular QR's...80mm travel forks will be ok but preferably in White (but maybe black...depends on final choice of frame colour).

Then some 29er wheels either stock or buying hubs n rims and having them built without costing a mint.... who do I turn to?

All comments appreciated.

Im keeping an eye out for the reba maxles but not seen them yet.

Wheels: cheap, a bit heavy, but good quality are On-Ones for £100 including Kenda tyres http://www.on-one-shop.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_29er_280.html

charlie has some Halos for £180 http://charliethebikemonger.co.uk/

Crossmax from JEJames for £540 http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/

Just Riding along for gucci custom builds http://www.justridingalong.com/shop.php?pid=481

Ison Distrbibution stockists can get hold of Salsa and Halo rims for your own builds (I ride salsa mainly, but then I dont do tubeless which salsa cant take). Rim prices have gone through the roof unfortunately so building your own can get quite pricey.

Reba Team comes in white with Maxle. They are 120mm travel but come with two sopacers so can be reduced to 100mm or 80mm. I got mine @ Winstanleys.

Other than the adjustable Rebas mentioned, you'll only find QR 29er forks at the 100mm or less that you quote. They are quite a new thing and, as it is 29er, will take a while to catch on.

As TT says - forks are mainly QR. I have Reba 29's, but I do like the look of the Manitou's on CRC. My older Reba's do twang a fair old bit - stopping 14st of me on a rocky bit, its not surprising something flexes, but it is noticeable. A stiffer (As you suggest bolt through) would be a winner for me.

I got 18Bikes in Hope to make up some wheels - XT on DT Swiss, they did me a great deal, certainly only a few quid more than the On-One wheels, but seemingly lighter, tighter and some free truing should I need it. A year of Peak bashing on my EMD and they are tight.
