I need a continuous 280 link length of 9 speed chain. Does anyone know where I can buy chain in lengths cut to order ?

Tandem folk would join two for their timing chain, I believe.
Wouldn't it be easier to buy 3 , remove the excess links and join them ?
I'd contemplated joining two chains. This is an option if I can't get it all in one piece. My OCD would kick in if I thought about the two joining links tho 8)
Use joining pins instead of links then
Bikes shops sometimes get chains on a reel so they only use what they need. Phone round your lbs, see if they have one.

You'd need three as chains are usually about 114 links .
JD Tandems do 160 link chains.
