MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Anyone know any shops selling some 27.5, 100mm travel suspension forks (straight steerer and quick release)? Really struggling to find anything online, looking to spend around £300 (for a kid's bike).
Some options here - RST ones for 80 quid?
What frame is it for?
The Manitou Markhor is probably your best bet-

Was going to suggest the RST Air...

The RST's have changable steerer tubes should you wish to reuse later.
or Manitou Markhour

I've had a look at this too as a potential upgrade for a Whyte 604 with it horrid Suntour coil fork but another possible alternative is to replace the lower headset cup with something like (you'll need to measure up / do your homework - understand whether you have a straight head tube or tapered) a Hope Type H ec44/40 which should open you up to world of tapered forks.
See p3 of
to get a better understanding of the options.
Thanks for all of the suggestions, the Manitou Markhors look good but not in stock for a few weeks.
I should have added that I am after alu stantions
@munrobiker - it is a Specialized Pitch
@scuttler - that is interesting I'll take a look but would prefer a straight forward replacement if possible.
you can get a straight tube pressed in if you can get a cheapish tapered fork
F1rst air is 6-10d delivery ... we had a 24" one and it was a good if basic airfork.
What A/C are you looking for?
I would have to check, it is for my nephew
I've just put a Markhor on my 2015 Pitch. The Suntour XC? fork it came with was rusty, heavy and collecting orange water. The Markhor is much lighter and actually compresses over small bumps. I bought mine from Rose and it was delayed being delivered. I think Rose may have stopped shipping forks to the UK now.
If you can find a Suntour Epixon in the U.K. they sometimes do straight steerer forks. They’ve got alloy stanchions and are fairly light / have some damping unlike the cheapie Suntour xcm / xct etc.
