Looking for a set of 27.5 wheels, non boost, preferably QR rear but would be happy converting from 142.

Doesn't seem to be too much availability at the moment. I do have a spare rear Hope Bulb hub, so might just build some but I can't really be arsed.... 15x100 deore front hub is only £11.99 at crc as well. Or theres a pair of Mavic crossrides at decathlon for £200.

She doesn't really need great wheels but I don't really want heavy shit ones, she currently has Hope Pro II/WTB KOM 26" ones I built ages ago. Has anyone seen any decent sets, or does anyone have any lying around in the garage they fancy selling?

I could just use the hubs of the 26" ones but I'm not sure whether to keep them for a future project that won't ever happen or sell them on....

I bought some of these in 26" for my lad's bike,

Brand X

Wide, tubeless rims, pretty light and really nicely finished for the price. QR kits available as well. Out of stock in 27.5 at the mo, but I find CRC are pretty good if you set up a stock alert and it's not super urgent.

Yeah looked at those Brand x ones, they look decent. I'll set up stock alert.

Her bike takes 27.5 wheels but shes been using it with 26" ones for a while but it's time to move up now. Not a great rush at the moment.

If you can find some probuild chosen hubs with alex volar rims, then they are light and pretty good for a kid. Merlin might have some.

Just another option for you in case - Mavic Crossmax at Bikester for £220. They are the 2022 version so quite light around 1770g. They used to come with 135qr adaptors but check the site. If you can live with the proprietary parts that's quite a bargain but runs out on the 11th July.

Superstar are selling rims off if you fancy building some up (or just loosely lacing them up and getting a shop to true them up)

https://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/shop/mountain/wheel-clearance-sale/ (RIM70 for 70% off)

I have a pair of little used 27.5 Pacenti TL28 rims on Bitex hubs on eBay atm. They have gravel tyres on but that’s only because I had the rims spare and wanted to play with wheel sizes on the gravel bike. The TL28 is/was they’re AM rim, tubeless compatible.

Happy to take a sensible offer if they’re of interest.

I've got a pair of non boost, qr at the rear crossmax in the garage hardly used if you're interested. Ok, the garage is in the South if France, but we'll be in Wales in a few weeks.

Why? (not a dig, just curious!)
