i'm doing a road ride from ludlow in shropshire to tenbury on the south coast of wales. it's 130 miles split over two days, finishing with a tasty beach holiday for about 3 days.
i'm sorted for a bike, but my mate has an old clunker that has seen better days and is not worth restoring. he's got £250 for a road bike, and i'm in charge of finding him one.
so what can he get for his money? where should i look?
any advice much appreciated.
