Hi all.
I'm trying to mount my Magura MT7 onto a new Zeb and I cant get it to fit??
The Zeb is a direct mount for 200mm rotors, I have a 220mm rotor and I've tried a shimano +20mm adapter and it wont fit as it rubs on the magura caliper.
Magura don't seem to make a 200-220 adapter?
Anyone come across this issue find a solution??
Thank you.
Use the magura 180 adaptor. It should be the same fit for 160-180 as 200-220.
SRAM mounts and hope also have a bigger kink than shimanos so may work too.

Ben do you happen to know what the magura adpater number is that you mention?
I was using a QM45 on my fox 36 and that is a mile off on the zeb.
Qm40.
How bad is the foul? Could just take some metal off the adapter?
Qm40.
Cheers, Ive ordered one to try, hopefully it fits.

I'd need to take quite a bit off to be honest just because of the shape of the caliper. I would be worried about making it too weak. Not a bad shout though.
If all else fails, try the SRAM +20mm kit that consists of longer bolts and some spacers, but no adapter itself...

****in 'ell its deja vu.
Cant visit other forums without seeing the same question postedย ๐
This is the Magura lookup table for mount vs. rotor size, in case anyone ever needs it

Definitely should; correct for the sizes involved, and your brakes being Magura of course. My Hayes Dominions A4s fit in these adapters, their calipers are huge.
if it helps i use a 220 rotor on mine. galfer rotor xt brakes.ย so it is possible, just with a diff combo

Now then that's interesting. I've been using the magura adapter guide from the net but it looks different to the one you have linked too. It certainly doesn't list a QM40 in the 220 disc column but it is reassuring that is does now!!
This is the one I found...
