[Closed] 2018 Giant ATX headset options

This subject always confuses me with numbers. I have a 2018 Giant Atx and I have a 120mm fox 32 fork I want to replace the 100mm Suntour XCM one with. Unfortunately the steerer is 3cm shorter. Looking at the factory FSA headset there is a rather tall cone dust cap on top of the upper headset cup.

I contact giant asking what the headset measurements were, as I wanted to replace it, and they said I could by a spare from the spares department using part number 1310-NO11Q8-101. Not helpful.

I can’t find much on the part other than it is a 28.7-44-30.

I assume that means EC44/28.7 (or EC44/28.6 as a more common cup), ZS44/30.

So what are my options? Can I get a more shallow EC upper without the cone on top? Can I actually replace it with a ZS upper (ZS44/28.6)??
