My free hub has developed a noisy free hub, it also makes a clunk when taking up drive. Will i need any special tools to remove the hub from the wheel?

If it's a roval hub just an 8 or 10mn hex, can't remember which, and an adjustable spanner. It may have just worked a bit loose.
