OMG - a gap in the last lap, and they still did a WR!

I honestly thought they'd lost it when that gap opened up - who is the nails rider who managed to actually close it?

That was a calm, patient, mostly well calculated ride. Good work GB!! I was almost shouting at the tv.

that gap that opened up at the end nearly killed me - my heart's doing 460bpm!!!!

Fair play Aussie. I thought they'd go out fast to put pressure on and then tie up, but they nearly bloody held on.

I glad i didn't bet my house on it.

I think it took until about the last lap for Australia to park up - they must have lost a lot there despite the gap

I headbutted the light fitting in the living room. Wow that was a thriller. Chuffed to bits for them.

Phelps might have 22, but I'd far rather go for a beer with those 3 gents and their 'only' 16.

One does get the impression that the Three Sirs have bonded. That would indeed be a good night out!

Wasn't that more of a dig at the media, rather than Cav? Unless you are referring to something I missed.

Jason Kenny's not far behind - wouldn't be surprised to see him with 7 medals by the end of next week. 4 gold and a silver so far........

And he's only 28. Chris Hoy was 36 in London 2012.

You could read it a couple of ways, but he was making it clear the commitment, time and effort that you need to get a top pursuit team together,so you can't just expect to parachute in to something like that last minute.

Owain Doull. Got a bit ragged right at the end but that was one hell of a ride to pull it back.
Brad's interview at the end was quite amusing. ๐Ÿ™‚

The headline says "Wiggins wins gold". There were three others in that team.

I think the commentators get a bit carried away. Before the race he was "going for his 8th individual medal".

Nice that he shook hands with the Australians at the end.
