First I an early meet with nobeerinthefridge for a 3hr ride around the Dalbeattie trails, normal and off piste 😉

Then it was home for lunch, cut the grass, bit of shopping before riding out to Mabie for a ride with forge and some more off piste riding was had :wink:;

Biked home and dropped in at the gym for a 1/2hr swim and a Newcy Brown or 2 to finish the day off nicely 😆
Trekster, is that the new Mabie loop in the photo? I take it they have used the old climb up to the viewpoint after the first bit of boardwalk, and created a new surfaced trail where the traditionally boggy bit ran alongside the wall is/was?
Kit - yes that's exactly it, it's bedding in nicely too. The climb to that point get's me everytime it doesn't seem that steep but always feels it.
Trekster - good route last night thoroughly enjoyed it and the "off piste" bits keeps Mabie special 😉

Lots of people now session that bit.
Lots of little jumps which at speed become a little bigger aka GT blue. Not a lot of peddaling required once you know where everything is.
Old Ridge line is still there 😆
