As title I am staying at White Cross Bay next week and was looking for a loop to cycle from there that would take a couple of hours. Will be heading out early doors while the wife is having a lie in. Would prefer not to drive as I cannot be sure how much beer will be consumed the night before. Was thinking a short Garburn pass could be a shout but would like a recommendation/ link to a map. Thanks Mark
Here is a map of the South Lakes #jennride taking in most of the BWs around there you could do a loop of one of them!

You could head up to Dubbs, down into Troutbeck then over to Jenkin Crag and down. I did something similar when staying near Windermere, think it took me about 1.5 hours.
Think Garburn would take a bit more time, as an 'out and back' to the summit of Garburn wouldn't really be worth it - the good descent is on the far side.
Vertebrate Graphics Lakes guide has got a Jenkins Crag route you could use.
Thanks I will have a look at some of them
