Looking at trying a wider tyre on my Crest 29 front wheel. Appreciate I won't be able to run it at as a low pressure as a wider rim, but will it work OK (or roll off!).
Hoping for a little more cushioning up front as run rigid forks.
It's a 2.6 Bontrager tyre, I'm pretty light and don't do gnarly!

Most folk, including stans, would consider the resulting tyre profile sub optimal, but you'll be able to ride it.
