[Closed] 1x11 help needed. Chain length.

So, as the new build slowly crawls along its now time to fit the new chain.

Does the normal rule apply? Big to big plus 2 links with the shock compressed?

I've never had anything other than double or triple before and don't want to destroy a new drivetrain.

I'm sure sram recommended more check there website out think they recommend 4 links with there 1x11 setup

Yeah, I seem to remember reading 4 links in s review. I'm running the XT M8000 set up.

I'll try with the shock compressed and see where I get to.

Big to small through the mech, with the mech in the nine o'clock position when the chain is tensioned.

I've just watched the One up installation video. Incredibly helpful

They say big to big with 4 links whilst compressed.
