My 2400mah 18650's will drive my 6 LED'S no prob, but my recently bought 3000mah will not and only 4 for a short while, but 2 for years!
Have tried doing a few charging cycles with no joy.
Is this simply an Ampage problem, dodgy Chinese batteries or do high mah supply less bang over a greater period??? Will dig out my tester later and check voltage, but am presuming there is just not enough power to drive 6.
were did you purchase them from? more than likely dodgy branded cells. If you look on the DX site they have high capacity cells and then small print underneath to say they are only rated at 1800mAh.
see here 2500mAh batteries - overview they are only 1800mAh !! how do they get away with it?
Which driver are you using?
Definitely a battery prob.
Get all my stuff direct from China, think it was some guy in Xingdao.
No idea who makes the driver, but all 3 lights get the same result.
Snaps, did they still have any HID bulbs left?
I've got some 18650's you can borrow to prove if you want as it sounds like a duff cell.
They don't have any HID bulbs but said PCBUYIT had some but they've not replyed to my email.
what did i tell you about dicking about with li-ion cells? ๐ ๐
