Wondered if anyone knew of any 14 inch wheel bikes that might suit my 2 year old.
Hes had a kiddimoto metal balance bike since he was 16 months which has been great and got him balancing quick but its not very durable and hes bent and cracked the frame and forks and this was even before he started doing ramps.
We looked at the islabike cnoc 14 at the cycle show which fitted him really well but we're reluctant to part with nearly £200 second hand as I fear its almost too light and we might have the same issue we had with the kiddimoto.
I wonder if something like the raleigh Performace 14 might be any stronger? I had looked af the ridgeback mx14 too but the styling of the new ones is more like the kiddimoto and he ends up sitting on the cross bar on that.
Anyone got any other ideas or anything for sale near Gloucestershire that might work?
Heres a bonus video of his skills just before he turned two shreading the skatepark. Aww can't post links. 🙁
Frog 43 or they now do the tadpole + which is a 14" balance bike

I'm not sure why you think a quality bike would be just as weak as a (relatively) cheapy one just because it's light. Is a cheap heavy BSO as strong as a quality lightweight adult bike? I'd expect a Cnoc to be just as strong - if not stronger - as the other options mentioned (the added weight doesn't generally translate to added strength). My kids did jumps on a Cnoc 16 when they were a lot older and probably rather heavier than your son without bending it. If you want something stronger than any of those then you're looking at a proper mini bmx, but then you'll pay a lot more for one of those.
Ridgeback mx14
I've ridden a Cnoc 14 over jumps. I'm 11 stone. I'd be pretty impressed if your 2yr old could break it, in fact I'd be absolutely amazed. Does he turn green when he gets angry?
