As the title, I like the look of the frame, but will the travel be too much?

All the reviews of the Anthem/Anthem X talk about the 'dialled' geometry/numbers.
Bearing in mind that for the Anthem X that is reliant on 100mm, 130 is way big. Can't say how that would work in reality but it just [i]looks[/i] wrong.
As per the JJG above a Trance X would sound more suitable.
Or else limit the travel to 100mm.
