I'm thinking of putting 120mm forks on a 2002 Santa Cruz Superlight, along with wide bars and short stem to build up an affordable all-day short travel full-susser.
The forks are Fox Talas 100-120-140 so the option is there to drop them back down to 100mm if the front becomes too light on steep climbs.
The frame is designed for 80mm-100mm fork travel I believe. Anyone run an early Superlight with longer forks and had issues? or any advice from the STW wisdom appreciated.
Thanks.

I had a 2002 Superlight which I used with talas 85-125 for 8 years with no issues at all. Generally set the forks at the longer end most of the time.
