Does anyone know of any 12 or 24 hour races that isn't in Scotland or south of Birmingham?
Dusk till dawn
South of Brum still, by about half a mile admittedly!
Can't think of any others now SITS has gone. Hit The North? Did that die?
I think he's asking for 24 races that are in between Scotland and Brum... Ie not D2D, 24/12, Mayhem, Torq in your sleep, Erlestoke 12, Strathpuffer, 10 under and so on.
Isn't there one in Yorkshire, or is that the ssuk event?
Yeah I am looking for 24 or 12 hour endurance mtb races not far from the Peak District. I would love to do the Strathpuffer but finances won't allow. Hence I am looking for races as close to Manchester/Sheffield as possible!
Poverty sucks!
SSUK is at Duncombe park in September. Info on EDS Bikes facebook page.
Well Mayhem isn't that far down the m5 but the entry fee is a lot so it won't save you much money...I think you can enter Erlestoke on the day eg if you get a lift share.
As njee already said only one was SITS but not anymore, the wiggle 6 hour is in notts (I think ). There's also a 24 on the Isle of Man but it costs a shit load to get over on the ferry with a car.
The Nutcracker MTB (Yorkshire regional series) organisers keep making positive noises about running a 24hr.
But I think that's all it is at the moment. Just noises ๐
