My old Lupine Tesla probably only lasts 3-4 hours max these days, so was looking at spare battery packs, then wondered whether it was actually worth investing in a dynamo hub, currently looking at exposure revo, Schmidt SON or the Supernova Infinity 8 system, any thoughts?

Read the Rob Dean PD-8 Revo set up and blog, really useful, sounds like the way to go, quite like the red eye option for commuting too.

Failing all that, anywhere that does cheap batteries?

smudge @ mtbbatteries should be able to knock up a spare battery for you.

I've got the Revo hub set up on my spare bike with a red eye on the rear for commuting and training.
Been on the bike for couple of months now and it's good for commuting, training and technical riding.
plenty light enough on single track plus like the fact of never having to worry if I've got fully charged lights.

Intend to race the set-up at Twentyfour12 and Erlestoke12
