Our TransAm ride continues through Kansas. We saw 114F yesterday. The route included a 37 mile stretch of arrow straight rolling road with no shelter or shade into a semi headwind. Hardest days riding Ive ever done.

in fact, a little hotter ( in the shade). plus, a certain mr Lance Armstrong was about for a wee cycle. I didn't join him, didn't want to mash up my style 🙂

Greig, yep, all is good on the ride. We visited Joplin the other day, the city which was hit by the tornado, I hope we don't run into one across Kansas.
