Anyone got a fix for this yet ?

Problem is that the new long arm front mechs interfere with any tyre over 38mm wide, ruling out all the best rubber.

A fix would be great, maybe there's a campag / SRAM / something else out there that works with the brifter ?

Or has anyone had luck with a Dremel ?

Does anyone know if Shimano will be coming out with a fix ? Hopefully backwards compatible.

Thanks

There is a SRAM solution, its called 1x11 🙂

There is also a Shimano solution, its called understanding how to correctly design your frame, rather than making the chainstays so short the FD arm hits the tyre.

Run a boost crank? Chainline would be a bit off but it would be ok.

Boost will make it worse. It's the lever arm that catches the tyre.
Boost means it'll (quite possibly) catch on both rings.

It's not too bad on my Diverge which has a road(ish) chainline but on my mate's CdF it's rubbish as the frame would accommodate much larger tyres (which he had purchased...)
