Took the family down to Kiroughtrees today, done a bit of the green route with the kiddies seen a baby cow and a nice pony aaaaawwwwww!! it were lovely,,, 8yr old girl freaked out when a beetle crawled in font of her (if you were there round about 1:00pm you probably heard her screaming) then a real monster was created. I introduced my 10yr old to the skills area. He had a free full facer, from toyz are us and rode a Halfords "street bike" hard tail with a 5mm front sus fork and wore mirror wrap round shades...He loved it and now he wants a new bike with "squashy front bits" like what everybody else had,,Thats ma boy....
Is 10 a good age to start? seems to me he really enjoyed it and i can see it wont be long before he's following me out on the locals, any suggestions for a first proper bike ??
