I know I'm being obsessive, but I'm struggling to answer this question. I have a 42t triple chain set on my 29er bike. I'm thinking of going double, but I'm worried of losing 4t on the outer chainring in the process
On a XT double chain set with a 38t top ring, can I fit the 42t from the triple chain set?
