I broke my freehub-body the other day, so I removed it from the bike (2011 Trek Remedy) in an attempt to find a part number, I couldn't find one so I popped in to my LBS, long story short they have been unable to get the correct one.

The hub is a Shimano FH-M525-SL no one seems to list a 10 speed Freehub Body (tried the 9 speed version but it was incompatible.)

Shimano don't seem to have any PDFs for the 10 speed stuff on their web site.

Doesn't look like I'm going to Newcastleton tomorrow (gutted)

Anyone got any Ideas?

..............thanks in anticipation

What groupset is it.Possibly Durace is different. I am happily running a 10 speed cassette on an originaly 8 speed hub

Wasn't aware that Shimano did any 10 speed specific mtb hubs?

Which 9 speed freehub body did you try? The Shimano tech docs suggest that it's madison part number 3A3 9802 for FH-M525-SL.

That's the one the tech docs suggest is correct.
