1 1/8 straight steerer 15x100 forks

Does anyone know of any cheap forks that are 15x100 non boost, straight steerer with 100-130mm travel? Rigid forks would also be an option if needs be. It's for a 26" wheel but i'm guessing a 27.5 would be easier to look for.

Edit: no rush at all for them, need to try and get Xmas sorted before thinking about this so would be looking at January or possibly February at some point at the earliest.

Thanks

I would look for one of the higher end Suntour forks, Epicon etc. with 32 mm or 34 mm alloy stantions and air springs. I have some on a commuter bike, they're fine for XC trail riding.

Yeah, Suntour were certainly still making what you are after until recently.

I have a 100mm Rockshox Recon 26 inch brand new and boxed that I bought for a lockdown project that didn’t happen, but it’s 9mm QR so not sure if that would suit? Happy to do a good deal for fellow STW member if of interest! This is the fork:

What's the budget?

I have some 26'' 100mm SIDs that meet those requirements with a decent length steerer.

Another option would be to fit external lower cup to allow you to fit tapered forks, assuming your headtube can accept an external cup. The lower external cup is only 49p.

Most new forks will be boost so you need a boost adapter £9.99

15mm hubs can be converted to QR quite easily. I'll have a look and see what I've got, might have a spare set.

@cerrado-tu-ruido Great advice. Just ordered some bottom B5 headset cups as my Specialized Rockhopper 2022 is a 1 1/8 steerer so can upgrade the forks to tapered in the future.

Only works if you've got a 44mm ID headtube though.

Hi, I’ve now listed my Rockshox Recons just in case you are still interested Gnusmas. I would prefer collection only but if you’re not local I would consider posting.

I've a revelation, though its 150mm, so prob no good, though I thought it best to give you the option.

26" 100x15, uncut straight 1 1/8" steerer, qr and stealth axles and should have an rs lockout remote for it too.

They can be travel reduced by replacing the airshaft.
